On the heels of the very sad news of Ralph Stanley’s passing, our new CD “Someday the Heart Will Trouble the Mind” is released today on True North Records.

It will come as no surprise to those who follow The High Bar Gang that a couple of Ralph Stanley classics are among this fine collection of Cheatin’ and Hurtin’ tunes. We hope that we have done Dr. Ralph proud.

The CD was recorded beautifully by Dave Meszaros at Watershed Productions in early December 2015, and we are extremely grateful to our good friend Karen Walker Chamberlin for flying up from LA while we were in session to take band photos on a very early and very rainy morning!

We had a great time making this record and we hope you enjoy our efforts. Thanks for listening and we look forward to seeing you soon!
